R’Avraham Cohen put together and edited this book of memories. He was a student of Rav Yitzchak Zilber zt»l, and was very close to him. Also he is the creator and founder of Toldot Yeshurun, the educational religious system for Russian-speaking Jews in Eretz Yisrael. R’Cohen spent numerous hours talking to Rav Yitzchak Zilber’s students and old friends, who had known him in Eretz Yisrael and in Russia. R’Cohen collected and put in writing their recollections about Rav Zilber zt»l, the times they shared together with him, mutual endeavors, and lessons and conversations on various topics.
These stories to certain extent, are a continuation and a supplement to Rav Zilber’s zt»l autobiography, To Ramain a Jew.
